Noted for it's spicy flavour, and tropical fruit bouquet, our wine is cool fermented over an extended time period to enhance aromatics. We generally allow fermentation to stop naturally, leaving very little residual sugar, and a wine that is ideal for pairing with a variety of foods.


Production is very labour intensive on our ¾ acre plot of seven foot wide rows. As with our other varieties, every effort is made to obtain fully ripened fruit. This generally occurs in early October, when we hand pick, crush, cold soak, then gently press.


Gewurztraminer may be enjoyed on release in the year following harvest, but develops additional complexity with 1 - 2 years in bottle.
