Our signature red blend of Merlot (67%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (33%), aged in French oak barrels for 21 months – about 40% new oak was used. Complexity, great aroma, and long finish are hallmarks of this wine. An elegant Bordeaux style blend with complexity and fine tannins. Most of the grapes are sourced from our own Estate, and as will all of our wines, this is 100% from the Naramata Bench. Berry and black currant aromas with rich cherry, toasty oak, and plum on the palate. Aging potential is generally up to 10 years from vintage, and we do recommend cellaring for at least 2 years. Many awards over the years, including Best in Class – Double Gold at the All Canadian Wine Championships. Generally rated 92 points or higher. Non-fined, non-filtered – decanting is recommended.

John Schreiner’s review of our 2018 vintage – 93 Points. “This is a blend of 73% Merlot and 27% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was aged in French Oak (40% new) for 21 months. It is a polished wine, beginning with aromas of black cherry, cassis, tobacco and chocolate which are echoed on the palate. There are fine silky tannins on a concentrated texture. The finish is long, with a note of spice.”
